The new maize-starch fiber developed by Japanese manufacturers Mitsui Chemical and Kanebo Synthetics is fully biodegradable, broken down by micro-organisms in the soil into water and carbon dioxide in harmony with the working of nature. At NUNO we overspun threads of this fiber to creat a delicate nubby crepe.
