Polyester
A unique feature of polyester is its ability to be permanently pleated. In making "MICA", this is achieved using polyester's little-known susceptibility to heat-moulding. NUNO employs a combination of moulded, hand, and machine pleats, resulting in a brilliantly glittering multi-layered fabric.Included in the Design Collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York (1996)
